Swim Lessons

Private Swim Lessons
We are proud to introduce private swim lessons here at the YMCA! These will be available for 2 year olds through adults who want some extra attention and more instruction. All of our private lessons are taught by our own certified instructors.

Adult Swim Lessons
Classes consist of instruction in basic swimming, stroke techniques and personal safety skills. Class is set up to move at your own pace with no pressure to advance too quickly.

Parent/Child (Ages 6-36 Months)
Emphasizes water adjustment, parenting skills and water safety. Special attention is given to the varying developmental stages of this group. Goals for this program include the child's enjoyment and adjustment in and around the water, while instructing parents how to assist in the development of their children's future swimming skills.

Super Twos (Ages 24-36 Months)
Designed for children who are able to swim without the assistance of a parent, but are under the age of three. Must be at least 24 months old, been enrolled in a parent child class before, and have permission from the Aquatics Director. Class is limited to three participants.
