Camp Offerings:

Golf Camp Twin Brooks

A camper’s week consists of individual and group instruction, and practice swings. Beginner and intermediate players are taught the fundamentals, such as proper grip, the importance of posture and body alignment, golf equipment and maintenance. The perfect way to end a great week of camp is with a field trip, where campers have the opportunity to participate in mini golf or disk golf.

Golf Camp Bardmoor

A camper’s week consists of individual and group instruction, and practice swings. The perfect way to end a great week of camp is with a field trip, where campers have the opportunity to participate in mini golf or disk golf.

*Bus transportation NOT PROVIDED. Campers must be dropped off/picked up at Bardmoor Country Club.

*Cost: $225 for members, $260 for non members

Culinary Camp

Each day will be fun-filled with culinary activities, as we introduce your child to our teaching kitchen and get them to learn about food and where it comes from. Campers will learn hands-on preparation of recipes, basic instruction of cooking and baking techniques, gardening, proper food handling, food preparation, food presentation, kitchen safety, healthy eating/ nutrition, manners and etiquette, and table settings. Campers will also learn about where food comes from by visiting community gardens, farms, food distribution centers, and fish markets.

Sailing Camp

The St. Petersburg Yacht Club’s summer sailing classes are designed to allow sailors to become acquainted with sailing and racing using 420’s, keelboats, opti’s and paddle boards. Sailors will get hands on experience rigging, steering, maneuvering around docks, and maneuvering around a course.

Girl Power

Girl Power Camp will empower your daughter with the skills, language, and self-confidence to develop a positive image about women everywhere. This camp will include activities on social and character development, anti-bullying, financial literacy, self- defense and many more fun activities your daughter will enjoy. Wrap up the week with a pampering trip to the spa!

Soccer Camp

Participants will learn the fundamentals of soccer while making new friends and teambuilding.  As the week progresses campers will be taking part in scrimmages and other competitive play.  UK International’s professional coaches will be running this camp in conjunction with the YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg.  Wrap up the week with a tour of the Tampa Bay Rowdies’ Stadium! Participants will need to wear athletic clothes and shin guards; cleats are recommended but not required.

Basketball

Come join us for a week of skills and drills!  Our highly trained staff will work with participants ages 5-12 on basketball and conditioning skills.  In addition to basketball, campers will also swim every day in our heated indoor pool.  Participants need to wear athletic clothes and shoes.

Science Camp

Enjoy a week of fun, hands-on, science projects!  Our knowledgeable staff will lead campers through a day of teambuilding, arts and crafts, and an afternoon with Mad Science Tampa Bay!  Campers will create inventions, use basic chemistry, and get a general knowledge of all things science!  Mad Science Tampa Bay encourages the love of learning and implements STEM based curriculum in all of its programs.  Weekly themes include “Sciencepalooza,” “Eureka! Invention Camp” and “Crazy Chemworks.” Participants need to pack lunch daily.

CSI Camp

Enjoy a week of fun, hands-on, science projects!  Our knowledgeable staff will lead campers through a day of teambuilding, arts and crafts, and an afternoon with Mad Science Tampa Bay and the St. Petersburg Police Department!  Campers will create inventions, use basic chemistry, and get a general knowledge of all things science!  Mad Science Tampa Bay encourages the love of learning and implements STEM based curriculum in all of its programs.  Weekly themes include “Radical Reactions & Detective Science—CSI,” “Secret Agent Lab: Funky Forensic,” and “Spy Academy: Mission Impossible.”

Fishing Camp

Come join us for a saltwater experience! This camp begins with the fundamentals of fishing including rigging of rods and knot tying, angling skills, cast netting, and of course fishing. All while partnering with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conversation Commission.
