Private Swim Lessons

Available for two year olds through adults who want some extra attention and more instruction. All of our private lessons are taught by our own certified instructors.

Adult Swim Lessons

Classes consist of instruction in basic swimming, stroke techniques and personal safety skills. Class is set up to move at your own pace with no pressure to advance too quickly.

Parent/Child (Ages 6-36 Months)

Emphasizes water adjustment, parenting skills and water safety. Special attention is given to the varying developmental stages of this group. Goals for this program include the child's enjoyment and adjustment in and around the water, while instructing parents how to assist in the development of their children's future swimming skills.

Super Twos (Ages 24-36 Months)

Designed for children who are able to swim without the assistance of a parent, but are under the age of three. Must be at least 24 months old, been enrolled in a parent child class before, and have permission from the Aquatics Director. Class is limited to three participants.

Preschool Lessons (Ages 3-5 yrs)

Children work under the direct supervision of qualified instructors to learn basic swimming techniques and safety in and around the water. Children will move at their own pace.

• Pike/Eel—Beginners

• Ray/Starfish—Advanced Beginners

Semi-Private Lessons (Ages 3 - 5 yrs)

This class is the same as the regular preschool class with a smaller student/teacher ratio.

Youth Lessons (Ages 6-12 yrs)

Develop the child toward student-centered learning. This forty-five minute program offers personal safety, personal growth, stroke development, water games, sports and basic water rescue. Child should be aware of and follow pool rules. The instructor will teach swimming techniques that are matched according to each child's skill and learning abilities. The more advanced your child becomes in this program, the more strokes he/she will learn. Remember, each child progresses at a different pace!

• Guppy—Advanced Beginners

• Minnow/Fish—Intermediate

• Flying Fish/Shark—Advanced

Porpoise Club (Ages 6 yrs & older)

Stroke Mechanics (Ages 8 yrs & up)

Specifically designed to help improve swimming technique on the four competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly). Participants should be able to swim continuous laps with minimal difficulty.
