ST. PETERSBURG PRODIGY PROGRAMS
The Prodigy Cultural Arts Program offers 100% free art and music classes to kids ages 7-17 in the greater St. Petersburg area (including supplies) The program makes available alternative activities for children who may not otherwise have the means available to them to participate in such activities. We use our art and music classes as a tool for prevention of youth delinquency; we believe that providing the children with positive alternatives to boredom and negative peer influences, we can help them to mold a positive future. The St. Petersburg Prodigy program serves more than 400 youth at three community locations each year. The program is offered in 8-week sessions that have included: clay, photography, painting, music, drumming, keyboarding, creative writing, dance, and visual arts.
