At the Y, you’ll discover so much more than just a place to work out. You’ll find a place where you belong. Whether you are looking to get fit or find support, we have a wide variety of programs and classes to help the entire family grow in spirit, mind and body. We are ready to help – just let us know how. Plus, when you join the Y, you're joining an organization that's committed to strengthening our community.
From swimming to the arts, your child will have the Best Summer Ever™! Summer Camp is available for ages 2 - 15, spanning 10 themed, fun-filled weeks.
Financial assistance is available to those who qualify.
Please contact us for information.
*Member versus Non-Member savings are based on 10 weeks of summer day camp for one child, where the family has a family membership.
Sanitizing surfaces between uses, deep cleaning at the end of each day, and electrostatic spraying are just a few ways we're keeping your Y clean and safe.
Our current schedule has nearly 100 classes between our two Wellness Centers, including LES MILLS™, SilverSneakers®, Zumba® - and more!
The pool at Jim & Heather Gills YMCA is open for lap swimming, independent water exercise, and family free swim. Plus, swim lessons are open for registration!
We're actively promoting social distancing, by spacing out equipment, placing markers on the floors in waiting areas, and holding group classes in large spaces.
In an effort to monitor attendance levels and ensure there's plenty of room for social distancing, our group exercise classes require a reservation.
We're excited to offer hundreds of virtual workouts, with many of our health programs offered virtually including our YMCA Weight Loss Program.
Masks are required in all common areas. They may be removed while using equipment, during group exercise classes, while using the pool or for children in Kid Zone.
One-on-one personal training is now available at both Wellness Centers. Call your home branch directly for more information on pricing, enrollment and scheduling.
Kid Zone is open with regular disinfecting, and multiple areas set up to encourage social distancing. Select equipment and toys have been removed to prevent the spread of germs.
At our core, the YMCA is about bringing people together. While the COVID-19 pandemic has created the need for social distancing, we remain determined as ever to ensure we can still foster relationships and keep our community connected.
This past spring, we redirected some of our resources to provide affordable childcare to more than 298 children of essential workers in 32 industries. We also called 4,667 seniors to see how they were coping with this time of isolation. And, we partnered with other organizations like the St. Petersburg Free Clinic to distribute food to 685 households and with Oneblood to host multiple blood drives.
