Facility Closure Update

March 23, 2020

Dear Y Family,

Please take a moment to watch this video message from me.

Your YMCA is responding to this crisis by transitioning our efforts to help first responders, medical workers and other essential personnel with much-needed childcare. These services are critical in order to allow these emergency workers to continue focusing on public health – your YMCA is taking care of those who take care of us. During this challenging period, your Y membership is needed now more than ever. Membership dues are a critical investment, helping us meet the evolving needs of our community and we need your help.

In order to keep our members, employees and the community safe, Governor DeSantis has mandated that we remain closed for normal YMCA operations through Friday, May 8th. Since this is a fluid situation, we will work closely with state and local officials and if we are able to open earlier, we certainly will do so. Please check our social media channels and website for up-to-date information.

Please contact Jim & Heather Gills YMCA at 727.328.9622 or Bardmoor YMCA at 727.394.9622 to discuss your membership options with us during this time of closure. We have several options and are available to discuss them with you.

We invite you to stay healthy, active and informed by utilizing our new virtual fitness classes and youth and family resources on our website. By STAYING WITH US, you will also be helping us to provide these meaningful services to our community during these challenging times.

Thank you for your continued support and please take care.
