YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg provides a variety of programs for school-age students, many taking place directly at school sites throughout southern Pinellas County, in partnership with Pinellas County Schools.

YMCA Before-and-Afterschool Program
The YMCA Before-and-Afterschool Program provides in‑school care before and after the bell rings at select school locations throughout southern Pinellas County. YReads! Literacy Program
YReads! provides kindergarten through eighth grade students with the intensive reading instruction they need to succeed. Students are referred by teachers to work with YMCA staff and mentors in small groups during two one-hour individualized sessions per week. Learn More

The YMCA Storefront at Finance Park provides students with information about making sound healthy lifestyle choices within the framework of a well-rounded life and financial plan.
