Summer Teen Camp at the YMCA

10 weeks of engaging activities for ages 12 ‑ 15

Teen Camp is designed to provide a fun and safe space where teens can stay active, engaged and connected throughout the entire summer. Each week is packed with fun-filled field trips, swimming and enriching experiences.

Choose from multiple locations! Summer Camp runs June 2 - August 8, 2025, and is held weekdays from 7:00AM - 6:00PM. Check out our weekly themes and field trips, below.

Costs & Fees

  • Cost Per Week: Non-Members: $280 | Y Members: $220
  • Registration Fee: $30 per child (Please note, this one-time fee per child covers all camps you choose, no matter how many you try.)
  • Deposit: $20 non-refundable deposit, per child, for each week of camp

Locations

Please note that these are drop-off and pick-up locations only. Each day, Teen Campers from both locations will join to be bussed to and from off-site field trips and activities, with planned curriculum held on-site at Bardmoor YMCA.

Y Members save nearly $400 on Summer Camp!

Join today to save on Summer Camp and enjoy all the benefits of Y Membership. Member versus Non-Member savings are based on 10 weeks of summer Day Camp for one child, where the family has a family membership. In order to receive member pricing, Y Membership must be active at the time of Summer Camp registration.

June 2 - 6
Field Trip: Topgolf; The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art; park

Say "Aloha" to summer! With beach-themed games and tropical activities, the first week of camp will feel like paradise!

Ocean Explorers

June 9 - 13
Field Trip: Studio Movie Grill; park; Celebration Station

Dive in, explorers! We'll embark on an underwater adventure, learning about sharks, dolphins and the unexplored depths of the sea - and your imagination.

Blast From The Past

June 16 - 20
Field Trip: Catapult Adventure Park; TASCO event

Travel back in time, from the groovy vibes of the '60s, to the rad '80s and everything in between. Get ready for nostalgic games, retro music, classic crafts and throwback challenges that will make you feel like you're stepping into a time machine.

Into The Jungle

June 23 - 27
Field Trip: LALA St. Pete (karaoke); Sandbox VR; park

Unleash your wild side as we take a safari to learn about animals from all over the world while exploring animal calls, unique habitats and more.

Party In The USA

Field Trip: Tampa Bay Rays game (OR bowling, TBD based on home schedule); Cici's Pizza; park

Celebrate America during a red, white and blue colored week. Campers will enjoy patriotic activities while learning about the USA.

Field Trip: Cruise from John's Pass Village; Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf; park

Ahoy young buccaneers! Prepare to hoist the sails and embark on the adventure of a lifetime filled with treasure hunts, daring challenges and unforgettable camaraderie!

Y Superheroes

July 14 - 18
Field Trip: TreeUmph! Adventure Course; TASCO event

Discover your inner super power! Campers will be tasked with missions that encourage movement, creativity and imagination - all while helping others.

Holiday Extravaganza

July 21 - 25
Field Trip: Clearwater Threshers game; mural tour; park

Campers will celebrate a different holiday each day of camp! We'll make holiday crafts, discover traditions from around the world and feel the spirit of giving with a toy drive for the YMCA Neighbor to Neighbor Christmas Program.

July 28 - August 1
Field Trip: Astro Skate; kayaking at Fort De Soto Park

To infinity and beyond! Campers will take off and explore the universe through special events, arts, crafts and virtual adventures!

Step right up and experience a week of games, dazzling performances, face painting and endless fun! It's time to celebrate all the fun, friendships, and memories we've made throughout the summer.
