Summer Bridge

YMCA Summer Bridge Before-and-Afterschool Childcare

Pinellas County Schools has announced that Summer Bridge classes will be held virtually this year, and students will need to complete 8 hours of virtual classwork each week. Although schools are not operating, they have opened to YMCA Summer Camp to provide care and support virtual Summer Bridge at select schools.

Virtual learning will take place throughout the day. Computer labs will be available, however, if your student has checked out a device from Pinellas County Schools, we ask that they bring the device with them. Students will be responsible for their device at all times; Secure storage will be provided when not in use.

The safety of our campers and staff is our top priority and we take this responsibility very seriously. We are committed to making our summer camps just as safe as the emergency relief care we offered while schools were closed. YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg staff are very experienced in keeping children and staff safe, especially during these uncertain times. Click here to learn more about our safety guidelines for Summer Camp.

In addition, financial assistance is available to those who qualify.

In order to qualify to attend at no cost, the following eligibility requirements MUST be met:
