During Day Camp at the Y, your child will discover a summer of exploration and adventure taught by our highly-trained staff. Choose from four locations! Summer Camp runs June 1 - August 7, 2020. Check out our weekly themes and field trips, below.

Aloha Summer

June 1 - 5
Field Trip: Swimming at Northeast High School

Say "Aloha" to your Best Summer Ever! With beach-themed games and tropical activities, the first week of camp will feel like paradise!



Sports Extravaganza

June 8 - 12
Field Trip: Xtreme Fun Center or St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club

Channel your inner sports star. This week will be all about teamwork and growing as leaders as we develop skills in a variety of fun sports.




June 15 - 19
Field Trip: AirHeads Adventure Arena or Sky Zone Trampoline Park

Discover your inner super power! Campers will be tasked with "missions" that encourage movement, creativity and imagination - all while helping others.



Animal Adventures

June 22 - 26
Field Trip: ZooTampa at Lowry Park or The Alligator Attraction at John's Pass Village & Boardwalk

Unleash your wild side as we take a safari to learn about animals from all over the world, exploring animal calls, unique habitats and more.



Stars & Stripes

June 29 - July 3
Field Trip: Baseball game - Tampa Bay Rays (7/2/20)

Celebrate America during a red, white and blue colored week. Campers will enjoy patriotic activities while learning about the USA.



Ocean Explorers

July 6 - 10
Field Trip: Splash Harbour Water Park or Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium and YMCA Branch Spelling Bee

Dive in, explorers! We'll embark on an underwater adventure, learning about sharks, dolphins and the unexplored depths of the sea - and your imagination.



Christmas in July

July 13 - 17
Field Trip: Bowling

Cool off with Christmas in July! Make Christmas crafts, discover traditions from around the world and feel the spirit of giving while kicking off our YMCA Neighbor to Neighbor Christmas Program with a toy drive.



Y’s Got Talent

July 20 - 24
Field Trip: Treasure Island Fun Center or Celebration Station, plus YMCA Talent Show and YMCA Spelling Bee

Lights, camera, ACTION! Let your inner performer shine as you share your best talents. This week also includes the annual YMCA Spelling Bee.



Y Olympics

July 27 - 31
Field Trip: Local area park and Y Olympics field day

Prepare for Olympic games you won’t forget! Campers engage in friendly competition while learning sportsmanship and comradery. Who will to take home the gold?



Camp Rewind

August 3 - 7
Field Trip: Cookout or movies, plus an end of summer celebration

Not ready for summer to end? Campers spend the final week revisiting their favorite activities and games as we rewind the clock on the Best Summer Ever.
