Global Impact
The YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg is proud to be part of the global Y movement.
In 2013, our Y championed the establishment of a new YMCA presence in the Cayman Islands. Our staff helped the Grand Cayman community develop a local YMCA board, hire an executive director, initiate fundraising efforts and conduct a community assessment to determine which program offering would best serve the surrounding neighborhoods.
The Y is committed to further empowering local residents with the knowledge, skills and support to create a better future for themselves, their families and their community.
