YMCA Before-and-Afterschool Program
The YMCA Before-and-Afterschool Program provides in‑school care before and after the bell rings at select school locations throughout southern Pinellas County. This program is about more than looking after children — it's about providing a safe and nurturing environment for youth to learn, grow and develop social skills.
As the nation's largest school-age childcare provider, the YMCA has a long history of helping children grow in spirit, mind and body. We have a unique curriculum including educational and character building resources that will provide children with the knowledge, guidance and encouragement needed to realize their potential.

BayCare Kids Power

The BayCare Kids Power Program was developed to be fun-filled and interactive, while educating children on various topics related to nutrition and exercise. The overall goal of BayCare Kids Power is to assist children in developing healthy habits, an active lifestyle and to improve their physical well-being. Program classes are designed to be taught during a 12-week period, during which the children will learn the role of exercise in their daily routine, and how it promotes muscle growth and development through games.
