Community Resources
City of St. Petersburg Satellite Office
To improve accessibility for the residents of south St. Petersburg, the Y and the city brought City Hall to the community. The Urban Affairs and Small Business Liaison will utilize this site during set hours.
St. Petersburg Public Library System
A library is located inside the Childs Park YMCA. Children ages 4 - 7 will enjoy stories, songs, puppets and other activities designed to nurture a young child's love of reading. For more information, please call 727.893.7714.
FREE tax preparation through Voluntary Income Tax Assistance (VITA)
IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals during tax season. In 2023, a total of 2,528 families received tax preparation assistance through 15 United Way-affiliated sites in Pinellas County. Childs Park YMCA resource center served 512 of these families, more than any other site.

- Food pantry services from St. Pete Free Clinic
Facility Rentals
