Childs Park YMCA serves as a resource center for our community by providing programs and services for all ages. At the Y, we strive to make our community stronger and provide opportunities reaching farther than the Childs Park boundaries. Join the Y family and live for a better you.

YMCA Programs and Services

• A variety of senior group exercise classes and events
• Prodigy Cultural Arts Program
• Computer lab (Wi-Fi, internet access, real-time instruction capability)
• FREE tax preparation through Voluntary Income Tax Assistance (VITA)
• Community Law Legal Services location - FREE legal services/advice (Note: you will need to make an appointment with this organization, which is onsite every third Friday of the month.)
• YMCA Neighbor to Neighbor Christmas Program distribution site

St. Petersburg Public Library System

A library is located inside the Childs Park YMCA. Children ages 4 - 7 will enjoy stories, songs, puppets and other activities designed to nurture a young child's love of reading. For more information, please call 727.893.7714.

FREE tax preparation through Voluntary Income Tax Assistance (VITA)

IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals during tax season. Families receive assistance through 15 United Way-affiliated sites in Pinellas County including Childs Park YMCA.

Facility Rentals

Host your next corporate training, meeting or family event at our YMCA. Our spacious multipurpose room can be rented for a very affordable rate and serve as the backdrop to many special occasions including birthday parties and celebrations. Learn More»
