YMCA Announces New Executive VP
The YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg has named Tim Staley its new Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, effective January 11, 2016. A YMCA professional for 24 years, Tim has a passion for expanding the YMCA’s programs and services to as many kids and families as possible. Tim’s YMCA experience includes opening two new YMCA’s, raising over $5 million in capital and annual support dollars, and managing budgets up to $22 million.
Tim’s immediate past position was with the YMCA of South Florida where he was the Executive Vice President of Child Care Operations where he was responsible for the operations and supervision of 108 program locations, and a staff team of 800 that worked with 6500 youth each day.
Along with his YMCA experience, he has worked in corporate America and he has owned his own restaurants. Tim is an avid tennis player, golfer and boater along with reading and travel. He has two adult daughters, and he and his wife Joan plan on living near downtown St. Petersburg.
