YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg Announces Naming of Competition Pool at Speer YMCA in Recognition of Mark Rutledge  

YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg is proud to announce the naming of the J. Mark Rutledge Family Competition Pool at the Speer YMCA in recognition of a generous contribution from longtime board member and supporter, Mark Rutledge. 

Mark’s gift marks a significant milestone toward completing the Speer YMCA Capital Campaign, helping bring the organization closer to its final fundraising goal. His leadership and dedication have been instrumental throughout the development of the Speer YMCA—serving as Chair of the Business Development Committee during much of the project, and playing a key role in advancing the project from concept to completion. 

“Mark’s commitment to our mission and his steadfast support of this project have left an enduring impact on our YMCA community,” said David Jezek, President & CEO of YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg, at a recognition ceremony at Speer YMCA Aquatic Center on October 14. “We are deeply grateful for his generosity and leadership, both of which continue to shape the future of our organization.”
