YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg Names Nancy Bryant as Chief Program Officer

YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg is pleased to announce that Nancy Bryant has joined the organization as Chief Program Officer, effective July 20, 2026. 

As Chief Program Officer, Nancy provides strategic leadership for the Association's youth development, aquatics, sports, preschool, school-age and community-based programs. As a member of the executive leadership team, she leads efforts to advance innovative programming, strengthen community partnerships, develop leaders and expand the Y's impact throughout the communities it serves. 

Nancy joins YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg from her previous role as Vice President of Programs & Partnerships a YMCA of Central Florida, bringing more than 24 years of YMCA leadership experience. Throughout her career, she has led multi-site program operations, built strong community collaborations and championed initiatives that create lasting opportunities for children, families and communities. 

Guided by her philosophy that "programs change lives," Bryant is passionate about creating opportunities for belonging, confidence, health and personal growth while building lifelong connections to the Y. 

Nancy's appointment reflects YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg's continued investment in high-quality programs that help individuals and families grow and thrive. Her leadership will support the Association's ongoing efforts to expand opportunities, strengthen communities and ensure the Y remains responsive to the needs of those it serves. 

Outside of work, Nancy enjoys spending time with her two sons and cheering on the UCF Knights, where she was a collegiate basketball player. She continues to draw on the values of teamwork, resilience and leadership that athletics instilled in her throughout her career.
